Caucasian Challeng

Mail od organizatora z dzisiejszego poranka
Dear Challenger,
you've most probably heard about the unfortunate conflict unleashed between Georgia and Russia a few days ago and you obviously started to think how this situation will effect the route or the existance of this year's Caucasian Challenge.
The scouting team has just arrived back from the region this Friday and was astonished hearing the news on the way back and after arriving to Budapest.
Though these kinds of conflicts are not unknown in the region at all, we (just like everyone else) are looking at Georgia with anxiety and atthe same time with hope.
We are constantly in contact with our helpers who are currently in Georgia and in other parts of the region and get the latest news daily.
We'd like to emphasize that the situation will not endanger the start of the Caucasian Challenge in no way, but certainly based on the actual situation we might change the route. We will inform everyone well in advance and prepare alternative plans.
Luckily there are promising indications of closing this pointless "war" in the near future (at least the physical conflict) so we can do the trip with small changes or no changes at all. All we can do now is wait since we are not in the position to kick politicians' asses...
So no worries - if you have concerns, questions, as usual: mail us. Now we are back and will be able to answer questions faster.
Best regards,

Zabieram sie wiec do roboty;) (mimo powolnego odgruzowywania spraw sluzbowych). Pojade po roadbook'u, troche to zajmie;)
Z technicznego punktu widzenia - droga do Erewania po trasie rajdu bezproblemowo, powrot z 2 problemami, ale usunietymi dosc szybko, mimo chwil zwatpienia.
Zdobyte doswiadczenie - bezcenne.
